The mobile phototherapy system is an innovative phototherapy light.  It incorporates a state-of-the-art blue LED light source for the treatment of newborn jaundice, degrading bilirubin, as blue LEDs emit most of their light in the 450-470nm spectrum which corresponds to the peak absorption wavelength (458nm) at which bilirubin is broken. The light offers flexibility in positioning and use, it does not emit significant UV and IR light reducing the potential risk of skin damage and fluid loss
