Acticoat
ACTICOAT is a potent antimicrobial barrier dressing. The Nanocrystalline coating of silver rapidly kills a broad spectrum of bacteria in as little as 30 minutes. ACTICOAT consists of three layers: an absorbent inner core sandwiched between outer layers of silver coated, low adherent polyethylene net. Nanocrystalline Silver protects the wound site from bacterial colonization while the inner core helps maintain a moist wound environment. Indicated as an antimicrobial barrier layer over partial and full thickness wounds such as pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, burns, recipient graft sites and cavity wounds.Â
Bactigras
Bactigras is a chlorhexidine acetate tulle gras dressing indicated for a wide range of wounds where there is a risk of infection, or on already infected wounds in conjunction with systemic antibacterial. It is a soothing non-adherent wound contact layer intended for topical use only, to reduce the incidence of infection in surgical, traumatic and ulcerative wounds and other skin conditions. For already infected wounds, the dressing can be used in conjunction with other topical and systemic antibacterial agents.
Bactigras is an antiseptic, soft paraffin dressing which soothes and protects the wound whilst helping to reduce wound infection and inflammation. It has low adherence and allows the wound to drain freely into an absorbent secondary dressing. Bactigras is suitable for covering wounds such as minor burns, lacerations, abrasions, and graft sites. Bactigras benefits includes:Â
- Soothes and protects the wound and allows free passage of viscous exudate.Â
- Open-weave gauze helps maintain shape and resist fraying when dressing is cut to shape
- Effective against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including MRSA
- Antiseptic efficacy unaffected by serum and blood
Intrasite Gel
Intrasite Gel is a hydrogel dressings that are clinically proven to facilitate gentle, effective autolytic debridement to prepare the wound bed in all types of wounds. Benefits includes:
- Balanced gel formulation
- Rehydration of hard necrotic tissue
- Loosening and absorbing slough and exudate
- Optimum environment to allow re-epithelialization
- Leads to reduced scarring
Iruxol
Iruxol contains collagenase, a natural enzyme that breaks down sloughy tissue and necrotic eschar gently and effectively. It is selective in its action by working on only dead tissue not causing harm to the healthy ones. Iruxol can be used for wound cleansing in various types of ulcerations, including decubitus ulcers and in poorly healing necrotic wounds.
IV3000
IV3000 is a dedicated range of IV dressings designed to meet the demands of modern IV site care. The moisture-responsive technology of IV3000 reacts in the presence of moisture or water by removing it from underneath the dressing, maintaining optimum conditions for the IV incision site which may reduce bacterial growth and in turn, help the dressing stay in place. It maintains skin integrity and supports good IV clinical practice
Opsite Post-Op
OPSITE Post-Op provides an impermeable barrier against bacteria, including MRSA (in-vitro) to reduce the risk of surgical site infection. It helps prevent blistering and offers a significantly longer wear time when compared with non-woven or passive dressings. The waterproof film helps patient shower with the dressing in situ.
Opsite Incise
OPSITE Incise Drapes dressings are made from the patented REACTIC™ film that responds to transpire excessive moisture. Waterproof, conformable and extensible, OPSITE Incise Drapes may be used as a secondary dressing. OPSITE Incise Drapes adheres right up to the wound. The incision site is clearly visible with minimal glare. It is tear resistant, yet can be clearly cut with a scalpel. It’s conformable on awkward operation sites and provides a sterile working field.
Opsite Spray
OPSITE Spray is a transparent and quick drying film which is easy and convenient to apply. Opsite spray is permeable to moisture vapour and air, allowing the surrounding skin to breath, helping to prevent maceration. The skin area can be bathed without affecting the dressing or wound. It can be used for a variety of minor dry wounds such as abrasions and burns, skin graft fixation, over intact blisters and vaccination sites.
Pico
PICO Single Use Negative Pressure Wound Therapy System (sNPWT) technology is completely portable and clinically effective in the treatment of surgical, chronic, and acute wounds. Pico’s unique feature includestabilised healing process, reduced damaged and pain on removal and enhanced patient safety
Primapore
PRIMAPORE is a conformable adhesive dressing consisting of a breathable non-woven top layer and a low-adherent absorbent pad. The dressing consists of a highly absorbent pad, maximizing the passage of blood and exudate into the dressings helping to maintain a good healing environment whilst at the same time minimizing the risk of fluid strike-through. PRIMAPORE is indicated for post-operative wounds, minor cuts, abrasions, lacerations and puncture sites.
Renasys GO
RENASYS GO Negative Pressure Wound Therapy System provides a powerful, easy-to-use and fully portable traditional negative pressure wound therapy (tNPWT) technology, offering patients added freedom during therapy. It has an intuitive LCD screen, patient-centric design and accessories for optimal experience. Designed to resist blockages caused by kinks, twists or compressions, the integrated alarm and indicator feature also helps to identify air leaks and low battery. Renasys GO tNWPT has a patient-centric soft port dressing shown to improve patient comfort and tolerability in comparison to traditional hard port variants.
