This is a Polyethersulfone Hollow Fiber Hemodialyzer, available in both low flux and high flux. The low flux dialyzer is a low permeability filter especially developed for standard efficiency bicarbonate dialysis while the high flux dialyzer is a high permeability filter particularly indicated for high efficiency treatments as hemodiafiltration and hemofiltration.
The Hollow fiber undulated design facilitates the distribution of dialysate, making each fiber perform more effectively and greatly improving the effective volume of the blood compartment. The excellent small molecular protein toxin clearance lays the foundation for high-flux dialysis while the optimized smooth face cap at booth end reduces the occurrence of residual blood coagulation.
The dialyzer is available in a variety of effective membrane areas to meet the needs of different patients:High flux: 1.3 – 2.5 (㎡) and Low flux: 1.1 – 2.3 (㎡)
